Science – research, development and innovation processes = the way to success
Solving of tasks in the area of science significantly increases the use of creative and innovation potential in VÍTKOVICE MACHINERY GROUP. In the area of research and development in the field of innovations the individual companies of the group solve a wide spectrum of tasks depending on their production and sales strategy. Therefore the group pays considerable attention to building of own scientific and development capacities for the core areas of enterprise.
In the process of solving of projects and tasks own research and development capacities are often interconnected with research and development capacities of universities, research institutes, but also research and development capacities of other subjects.
Especially the universities are perceived as an important partner in resolution of tasks of the scientific and technical development. Universities currently dispose of considerable capacities that can be successfully used for achievement of project goals and task solutions. Within the VaVpI operational program they now have the opportunity to get a state-of-the-art equipment of their laboratories and institutes and offer their capacities to industrial partners for use. The point of intersection of VÍTKOVICE MACHINERY GROUP with universities is to gain a synergic effect that makes the research, development and innovation process more efficient.
Based on the field focus of VÍTKOVICE MACHINERY GROUP, our partners in the field of science and technology are especially the following:

Common interest is to create environment stimulating research, development, innovation, support the cooperation of schools and the private enterprising sector, increase the attractiveness of the technical fields of study at universities, effort to connect to the international cooperation in the research, development and innovations.
The cooperation with the above-mentioned universities is focused especially on the areas of classic nuclear power engineering, new production technologies in the area of heavy machinery and machine metallurgy, material engineering, transport, information and communication technologies, waste processing technologies and last, but not least technologies associated with environmental protection.
Grant programs for the support of science and research like Impuls, Tandem, Trvalá prosperita (Permanent prosperity) and currently especially TIP have become crucial for direct and indirect cooperation between the companies of VÍTKOVICE MACHINERY GROUP and the universities.
We assume that the output of our cooperation will be not only the new theoretical knowledge in the aforementioned areas applied as patents, utility and industrial designs, prototypes published in professional magazines, but especially results applied in the form of verified technologies and technological procedures implemented in the new products with substantially better utility properties.
